Traditional Chinese Method Encapsulation

The Traditional Chinese Method (TCM) of encapsulation starts with a gentle cleansing of the placenta where the veins are removed and the blood is drained. Then lemon, cayenne pepper and fresh ginger are added to the placenta and a slow steaming process begins. Once the placenta has reached an internal temperature of 160F, it is cut into thin strips and dehydrated. When dehydration is complete it is ground down and made into capsules.

In TCM it is believed that post partum women are very cold due to blood loss from child birth and their empty womb. This coldness is commonly referred to as YIN. The TCM method of encapsulation with it's warming, tonifying herbs and gentle steaming process is one way for a post partum Mother to add YANG, or rather heat energy back into her body.

**This method usually produces less pills than the raw encapsulation method.

This prices also includes pick up of the placenta from the hospital and overnight delivery of your capsules via FedEx.
